PUBG Mobile, which has become one of the most popular online smartphone games ever, is getting another massive update which brings the much-awaited PUBG Vikendi Snow Map to the platform. The new Vikendi Snow Map won’t just be limited to PUBG Mobile as the fourth map for PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds will also be available on other platforms such as PC, XBox One and PlayStation 4.
Know thy map – Vikendi
The first and foremost aspect of acing the game is to know the new map and the terrain. The Vikendi map is a snow filled 6×6 km map which comes with numerous new areas to explore. Some of the notable areas include a cosmodrome, a prehistoric Dino Park and Castle, among others. We downloaded the new beta version and the map is around 134 MB in size.
Here is a complete list of locations available within the new Vikendi map:
The snow map is expected to breathe new life to the popular Battle Royale game during the festive season. Vikendi measures 6×6 on the scale, which is bigger than the previously released Sanhok map. The map will have its topography modelled after several European tourist places. The addition of the snow should make the gameplay more exciting. Earlier, the developers announced that Vikendi’s snow will hold footprints for a while, which should make it challenging for players to devise a foolproof strategy.
The snow will also make it difficult to drive vehicles as the surface will be slippery. A snowmobile will be added exclusively to Vikendi and should help players traverse the long distances on the map. As for weapons, the G36C Assault Rifle is a new addition to the armoury that replaces the SCAR-L for the snow map.
